Every thread,
accounted for.
How STANZO sources fabric, supports local artisans, and builds a more responsible bespoke supply chain from Dar es Salaam.
Trace A Garment
Every STANZO fiber is traced to its mill of origin — Italian wool from Biella, French flax from Normandy, and Tanzanian cotton grown within 200km of our Dar es Salaam atelier. We publish the mill name on request for any garment.
We favor natural and recycled fibers over virgin synthetics: organic cotton linings, recycled polyester blends where structure is needed, and deadstock wool reclaimed from European mill overruns rather than newly woven yardage.
From Fiber to Fitting.
Per suit, cradle-to-atelier: solar-powered cutting tables and sea freight only, with pattern-marker efficiency around 96% so almost nothing ends up on the cutting-room floor. Offcuts become linings, pocket squares, and our Sahara Whisper textile — nothing wasted.
STANZO Atelier, Biashara St, Kariakoo
Cut, canvas, and stitch under one roof. No outsourcing. Every seam signed.
Worker Standards
“Every suit has my stitch. I sign the inner pocket.”
“STANZO taught me to hand-finish lapels, now I train others.”
