Terms of Service

1. Who We Are

STANZO is a bespoke menswear and wedding tailoring atelier based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of stanzobrand.co.tz (the “Site”) and any order, bespoke commission, or gift card purchased through it.

By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Orders & Payment

Orders placed through the Site are requests to purchase and are confirmed once payment is received and verified by our team. Prices are shown in Tanzanian Shillings (TZS) or United States Dollars (USD) via the currency toggle; the amount actually charged is the TZS value unless otherwise agreed.

We currently reconcile mobile money and bank transfer payments manually. An order shows as pending until our team confirms receipt of payment — you will be contacted directly to complete this step.

3. Bespoke Commissions & Measurements

Bespoke and made-to-measure garments are cut to the measurements taken at your fitting appointment or submitted through the Site. Because these garments are made specifically for you, bespoke commissions are non-refundable once cutting has begun, except where the finished garment does not conform to the agreed specification.

Reasonable alteration allowances are included as described at the time of your appointment.

4. Gift Cards

STANZO gift cards are delivered digitally to the recipient email provided at purchase. Gift card balances do not expire and are redeemable against any order on the Site or in-atelier. Gift cards are not redeemable for cash, except where required by law.

5. Shipping & Delivery

Delivery timelines and costs are described on our Shipping & Returns page. Risk in goods passes to you on delivery or on collection from our atelier, whichever applies to your order.

6. Returns & Alterations

Ready-to-wear Essentials pieces may be returned in line with the policy on our Shipping & Returns page. Bespoke and made-to-measure pieces are covered by our alterations allowance rather than a standard return, given their personalized nature.

7. Website Accounts

Creating an account requires accurate information and a password you keep confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

8. Intellectual Property

The STANZO name, logo, and all designs, photography, and content on the Site are the property of STANZO and may not be reproduced without written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Tanzanian law, STANZO's liability for any claim arising from an order is limited to the amount paid for that order.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dar es Salaam.
